Indicator Cell Assay Platform
The Indicator Cell Assay Platform (iCAP) is an inexpensive, blood-based assay for use in early disease detection or as a companion diagnostic for drug development for a broad range of indications.
How does the iCAP work?
The iCAP uses standardized cultured cells as biosensors to detect and amplify signals present in blood or other fluids from healthy and diseased persons. We quantify cellular responses using gene expression profiling and machine learning.
What makes the iCAP unique?
The sensitivity and specificity of the iCAP overcomes barriers to other diagnostics, such as the broad range and potentially low abundance of biomarker signal concentrations, patient-specific differences that contribute to assay noise, and needing to identify analytes a priori.
